What is Music-a-thon?

The annual Friends of Music at Hamilton International (FOMAHI) fundraiser is February 10th, 2026. Music is performed all day and into the night to celebrate the musicians and help raise money to enrich our students’ music education. This is the primary fundraiser for the year and directly supports our Band, Orchestra and Choir programs with funds the school cannot provide: individual coaching, instrument purchase and maintenance, supplies and trips - for which FOMAHI subsidizes and provides scholarships. Our goal is $40,000 to support more than 500 students!

Step 1: Please donate by February 10th. Please ask friends and family to support our music students. FOMAHI is a 501©(3) and welcomes corporate matching gifts (Tax ID 27-0167367). We accept donations in a variety of ways:

• ONLINE
• CHECKS payable to FOMAHI,
• CASH
• PayPal

Step 2: Students return signed golden envelopes to their music teacher, with or without donations, by February 10th.  There will be class prizes for the highest % returned and randomly drawn individual prizes donated by local stores.

Step 3: Young Musicians Showcase, February 11th, 6:30pm- 8pm, Hamilton Student Commons. Please join us for music and bake sale. Students sign up with your music teacher to perform. Dinner provided for student musicians.
